Still here!

Too busy clearing and cleaning up to write sorry. This looks to continue for a few weeks yet. Still… nice to have family around eh? 🙂 The second set of rellies have bought themselves a small Toyota campervan and are beginning to organise themselves to set off for a year across Australia in search of… … More Still here!

Woolly writing

I just read what I sent to Samsung and at first sight it looks as tho I’ve given them nowhere near enough information… for example it appears I didn’t tell them the date of purchase 🙂 However while it *looks* ‘woolly’ in fact that information *has* been sent to them. Having said that I could … More Woolly writing

Samsung SGH-A501

Last Xmas we bought the eldest daughter a Samsung phone. This Xmas it stopped working – three weeks after the end of the warranty period! I wrote the following to Samsung Australia to see if it would persuade them to do something useful… like repair or replace the unit. I’ll let you know what they … More Samsung SGH-A501

It's just not cricket!

Racism on the hallowed turf? Sledging? Unsportsmanlike behaviour? He wrote a ‘final message’ to be posted in the event of his death and it was posted on his blog a couple of days ago. The news story is here http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23016222-5007146,00.html but the full post can be … More It's not over 'til it's over… and it's never over.

My hips hurt.

As I said, I’ve spent a lot of today doing some clearing up. Trouble is my hips are now giving me hell. I’m wandering around moaning and whinging about the pain but oddly enough it isn’t seem to be having much effect other than annoying the hell out of everyone else who, to be fair, … More My hips hurt.

Tidy day!

I think I did too much yesterday. We started taking down the decorations and in the middle I decided it was time to clear up some more of the garden by chopping back the Rosemary bush and similar totally non-essential tasks. Either way whatever I did was too much because my back is hurting – … More Tidy day!
