Ok… I’m more or less mobile again so it’s time to take stock and see where I’ve got to… physically at least. I’m 61, got three collapsed vertebrae, a ‘dickey knee’ and ‘trick hip’, and of course a broken toe. News coming in that Patrick Swayze has developed pancreatic cancer. This isn’t a particularly good diagnosis since the survival rate is extremely low, in the region of 5%. Nevertheless we we wish him well and hope he is one of that small number who make it through..
