Was thinking on the way home tonight about the word ‘Research’ when applied to attempts to solve medical and other social problems. Isn’t it a bit of a misnomer? Surely *re* search means to review or re-read previous searches. Shouldn’t ‘research’ just be called ’search’?? Just wondering.
