Last week the dog spent half his time throwing up, and the other half collapsing so naturally we eventually took him to the vet to try to establish the cause. After blood tests and some antibiotics it turned out he has Pancreatitis!
We were told we had to starve him for three days… not hard as he’d not been eating anything for more than a few seconds at a time before unloading it again… and to give him electrolytes and antibiotics.
After a couple of days he is allowed to eat boiled rice and chicken… so this morning he gets his first meal in a week! Next question is will he eat it. After that… will he keep it down
