The youngest daughter was in the pool the other day and somehow contrived to hit her own eye with her knee! We thought nothing of it since she has scrapes and bumps all the time.
This morning however we have a surprise – she has a black eye!! I’ve not seen one of those for years but this one is a nice shade of purple.
She’ll just have to tell people she wouldn’t listen so I bopped her one. Far less embarrassing than telling people you smacked yourself perhaps??
