Wouldn’t claim that for a second but I’m running out of message headers. Nevertheless there is a point to the post. Hot on the heels of making up Sally’s business site I decided to create yet another blog site for my own use.
After writing the post on ‘motley’ a few minutes ago I thought how often I sat around wondering where words came from and how their meanings and use fascinated me… so I thought I’d set up an ‘occasional’ blog where I could make a list of these words and comment both on them and what it was that attracted me to it.
Yet again if you want a look you can find it at The Occasional Etymologist and of course the first post is a direct pinch of the one I made here on ‘motley’. 🙂
