I might have mentioned this before… several hundred times… but I often wonder if the gods are just using me to have a laugh.
After two hours watering the new turf up at the Guide Hall this morning I was feeling quite pleased with myself. The temperatures in the early afternoon were above 34ºC and I thought whoopee… I did my bit and saved it!!
And then the heavens opened… and we’ve had a massive downpour. I really wonder why I bother sometimes!! 😀
