The carnival celebrating the school’s anniversary is on today from mid-day onwards. There are supposed to be rides and attractions for all… including a live performance from Delta Goodrum who is an ‘old girl’.
We’ll all be trooping up there soon to spend the day boiling and fighting… but the kids will have fun while I mutter to myself about all the things I could be doing otherwise.
Trouble is the wife isn’t here so I’ll be spending most of the day on my own or trying to make polite conversation with people I hardly know. What?? Antisocial?? Well ok yes I am 🙂
