I started to make a list of the LP’s I wanted to work through but gave up after a few minutes. there are far too many to list.
Having said that there *are* a few highlights to mention, for example, Johann Sebastian Back “Overtures 1 – 4” played on ‘original instruments’ by Concentus Musicus Vienna, conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt (recorded 1966 actually)! Also assorted works played by Yehudi Menuin on a record called ‘Masterpiece’ – (recorded 1979). There’s even some early Jascha Heifetz recordings ‘remastered’ to produce ‘stereo effects’!! 🙂
There must be at least 20 more… including oddly enough… “A Salty Dog” by Procul Harum’ and “Fragile” by Yes !!!!!
One day I’ll get round to playing them… maybe.
