Avast me hearties etc… would you believe that September 19th is ‘Talk Like Pirate Day’?? No, I’ve never heard of it either but it seems to be an annual event… as yearly things tend to be. In fact it’s been going since 1995. Weird eh??
As far as I can work out, it seems to be a day when we are all supposed to wander around going “Arrr…”, and “Ahoy there…”, and so forth and suchlike.
