Still cold here after all. I’d hoped the raise in temperature we had last week would’ve signalled the arrival of an early spring, but this morning again the temperature dropped to 2ºC and there was thick ice on the windscreen of the car.
Luckily, or not, the dogs woke us up early so I was downstairs at 4:00 a.m. letting them out. It was too early to get up, but too late to go back to bed so I made the wife’s lunchbox, did some ‘stuff’ online and was ready to start the car to let it warm up. None of that frantic last second scraping off enough ice to let me see the road today! 🙂
Of course I’m now exhausted… and have to face getting the kids up and out on a cold morning, but at least the sun is up now which is another indicator of Spring on the way. Could be worse 🙂
