I’m sure the adding of the ‘Free Alan Johnston’ button to our site was the catalyst for his sudden release a few days later. I mean what else could have caused it??
Possibly I suppose it might have been the surrounding of his place of imprisonment by Hamas gunmen and an ultimatum to let him go or suffer the consequences… but I expect that was just a side issue. 🙂
Either way I’m pleased to report that after four months in captivity, some whilst attached to an explosive vest, he *has* at least been freed, safe and well for which we are mightily pleased.
