Many thanks to the support section at Jumba. Chris (the tech) managed to sort out that somehow a .htaccess file went astray during the move and he reinstated it. I reported it to the host service support section in case it’s a database problem, but I know the posts are there because  I can get at them via the management page. But of course I want them onsite.
