The Palm Jumeirah has to be one of the worlds great modern wonders. Built in Dubai, it is a totally artificial construction which holds huge hotels, expensive housing, and world class support facilities. Just for scale, the little yellow pimple in the middle of the ‘trunk’ is actually a hotel…!! Beautiful… but strangely pointless.

After some deliberation I’ve come to the conclusion that there *is* a purpose for distinguishing posts in here by category. If nothing else it simplifies immensely the task of searching for a specifi post if you know what category it belongs to… e.g. ‘family’. I just went up to our little ‘store’ in the bedroom… i.e. the walk in wardrobe… and counted 27 rolls of assorted wrapping paper. Why on earth have we got 27 rolls of wrapping paper?? Whe *needs* 27 rolls of wrapping paper? It’s madness!!
Well I ate the toast for breakfast… and feel really sick… I have a frontal headache, which may or may not be psychosomatic… but hurts either way. 😦
