So close!

My first target is getting very close. Several years ago my daughter managed to get me to exercise and diet so I reached 135 kilos, so I *really* want to get back down there and use it as the new ‘starting point’ for my weight loss.

Ok, it sounds a bit silly since I already dropped quite a lot of weight (around 30 kilos so far in total), but a target is a target, and a reason is a reason so I’ll take it as a small win when I get there.

From there the next target will be 125 kilos, then 120 kilos, then 110 kilos etc until I reach my first *real* goal of 100 kilos. Theoretically at least, according to weight charts (which are notoriously unreliable), my target weight should be in the region of 80 kilos, i.e. half my starting weight. I think this would be far too low for my frame and I’d be looking like a skeleton with skin on it. Still, we’ll see. Maybe increasing muscle would make the loss less obvious so once my lungs recover enough to let me inhale properly, I should start going to the gym and get a trainer to help me on my way.

In the meantime, I should *really* start walking, it’d be better than nothing which is what I’m currently doing. Another target!! 😀
