It’s been a very long day but we’re home at last. Too late to work on the site, too tired to spit. Well fed after the leg of lamb… but so tired I just need to sleep. 🙂
Did I mention the leg weighed 3.5 kilos? Only cost $3.99 a kilo too. Good value we thought… tho for a ‘lamb’ to have a leg that weight probably means it was really hogget… but what the heck. It really tasted ok and just fell off the bone!!
I’m off to bed… I’ll have a go at the site tomorrow… I’m *sure* I’ll be ok by then!! 😀

this is the first mention of “the leg of lamb” – I am sure there must be a story – there is “always” a story! – nothing could be that simple!
Believe it or not… no story! 🙂
Just went into Woolworths and there it was. I thought I’d mentioned it before… and I had… just not on this blog! Nothing special sorry… just dinner.
I’d put it on to cook at 2:30 p.m. as I went off to collect the little one from school to go skating and the only ‘story’ as such, was how hard it was trying to stop myself eating the entire thing!! As it was we *all* fell on it like ravenous wolves! The bones are waiting there for the dogs… and the dogs are waiting for the bones… and a small chunk of meat is left in the fridge waiting to be sliced for sandwiches. Otherwise… all gone! 🙂
I think it was worth the money!
