Most people will never have heard of Clare, but she died today after losing her struggle against skin cancer.
Clare used a tanning solarium around 20 times in her early 20’s but three years ago was diagnosed with a particularly malignant form of cancer. She was operated on, but the cancer returned and yesterday it took her life.
Once she understood what had happened to cause the disease, Clare used her remaining life to warn others appearing on television just a few weeks ago to let people know in detail how dangerous tanning tables cane be. So sad that such a young woman should succumb to something she thought was health enhancing.
