Well we’ve had a start to the day. The outside temperature is 13ºC even at 6:00 a.m. and, for a change, the air conditioning hasn’t frozen over so the house was warm! The youngest daughter is up already. She’s got dressed, had breakfast and is all bar ready to leave for school. No arguments
On the other hand the eldest has developed a really sore throat so I’m assuming she’s picked up the virus that’s ‘been going around’. I’ll nip upstairs in a few minutes and see how she is. She rarely complains about being ill so if she’s really feeling under the weather she might end up staying home in bed. It’s always hard to tell with kids if they really *are* ill or just swinging the lead so to speak.
On the assumption she *does* stay home, I’ll be digging the thermometer out and checking her temperature. I know she has a sore throat, so we’ll see what’s what then. In the meantime, on with the motley. Loads to do and no motivation to do any of it. 🙂
