Auction stuff.

The wife’s company has moved headquarters and had a bucket load of ‘stuff’ left over form the move they wanted to get rid of. They decided to hold an ‘auction’ to let the staff get some of it and we bid on a lot of it.

What we ‘won’ was a couple of tables we didn’t really want, some shelves that we have no space for… and a tv which might actually be very useful!!

This arvo I’ll be off to pick up as much as we can cram in the car… might have to make two trips… we’ll see.:D

  1. No need to buy from them… ex-corporate machines tend to be very basic and ‘old’ technology. Besides, we’re nearly sorted now.

I have the new machine, the eldest will have a virtually identical one next week for her birthday and the little one will have a similar one for hers in September.

The wife has (at home) the replacement laptop we got from the insurance company when the eldest dropped hers. I think that’ll do us for a year or three.

In fact, strangely, this leads me to a new post on spring cleaning 🙂
