I was due to visit the GP yesterday to have blood taken for tests. Appointment was at 9:40 so rolled in at 9:30 to make sure I was there on time. Nobody else there… great.
Sat and waited.
The doctor arrived 30 minutes later… by which time the surgery had filled up a little as 8 – 10 people slowly drifted in. He starts seeing people… and I’m sitting there. Two hours later I finally get in, have the blood taken and am out in 10 minutes.
Did I complain? Nope… no point. I think it was just another aspect of the jinx… the receptionist just forgot me.
For all that I’ll be interested to see the results this time. He’s asked for reports on almost everything and anything from prostate cancer to cholesterol… including any obvious allergies! If anyone can think of a few tests he could run I’d like some feedback… I figure I may as well get everything seen to while I’m in the mood. π
How about a DNA test? I still refuse to believe we’re related!!

So nice you said it twice π
As for the comment… you know what they say… you can choose your friends… but your relatives… well… ?? π

I often think about Darwins theory. Then I look at my gene pool and think he must’ve been talking rubbish. Survival of the fittest? Not with our lot. I’m surprised we’ve lasted as long as we have. I think I may be a figment of my imagination
