Channel Seven unearthed a friend of Mercedes Corby (Schapelle’s sister) who was willing to ‘tell all’ in a paid interview. I missed the first of the two programmes and I almost wish I’d missed the second.
There was very little of value in it, very little relating directly to Schappelle and her fight for freedom, and a lot that seemd to be pure spite directed at Mercedes by her ex-friend. We heard tales of ‘drug use’ by what was then a 17 year old girl, and the possibility she mixed with some unsavoury people… and none of this was linked directly to Schapelle herself!
What this had to do with Schapelle and her appeal is anyone’s guess… other than it can do her nothing but harm for no reason other than greed.
Last night’s program was a total disgrace. The entire thing was just unmitigated, unsubstantiated rubbish. In fact, towards the end the *real* reason for the character assassination came out… Channel 7 was still smarting over losing the original media circus to Channel Nine when Mercedes sold them *her* story to raise funds to fight Schapelle’s case.
We also heard from a lawyer, who *really* ought to be embarrassed to call himself such after breaking his client confidentiality, with details of a refusal to submit to a DNA test or somesuch. Mercedes has already clearly explained what this was about, but I’m not reprinting it here. It’s all ‘out there’ on the web.
All that’s left to say is that Channel 7 ought to be ashamed of itself for even *considering* this stuff was ‘newsworthy’ let alone *running* with it in the middle of the girls final chance at an appeal. In the end the story had virtually no content regarding Schapelle… or her conviction… it was *all* about her sister Mercedes.

They meet up with Jodie (the woman making these claims that Mercedes had been exporting marijuana to Bali)in Sydney but Jodies catches another flight.
What If.. Jodie got the shit off Merc and planted it on Schapelle
HEY!!! Maybe Jodie is guilty and is freaking out cos SHE planted the shit on Schapelle Corby at Sydney…and maybe she did get these drugs from Mercedes. Jodie claims that Merc asked her if she’d export the drugs. Maybe she is wanting out of this dark family secret like as if she can get out of her part in this too.
There has to be more to this story and Merc and her husby just appear to be hiding something cos they are saying fuck all about Jodie except “She’s lying!”
Thing I dont understand in all of this is… why export marijuana to Bali when they can grow it there real cheap cant they? I always thought you’d be getting the stuff from there, not taking it to there. But maybe cos the laws are real tight these days in Bali and loads of Aussies smoke choof, maybe there simply is a great demand for the stuff there n Aussies will pay top dollar for it in Bali.
Yep..and you think of how much of a stink both Jodie and Merc have kicked up in Indionesia, how much out of their way they have gone to defend Schapelle,
you think Wow, what a loyal family…how they fight for Schapelle
…then this? What? Jodie all of a sudden totally jeopardises Schapelle’s case by saying this shit about the Corby’s on air
Maybe the loyalty these women have displayed is more a simple bond..the two women bonded together to defend Schapelle because they are BOTH guilty of seeing this innocent woman onto the hands of the law.

Jodie’s Mum is defending Jodie.
Jodie is the now ex friend (the once devout defender of friend Schapelle Corby) who spoke out saying the Corby’s are corrupt..etc etc etc
Jodie’s Mum is now giving the impression that Merc is responsible for seeing her sister take the fall.
IF… Jodie is guilty too, that she got the gear off Merc and planted it on Schapelle but missed the pick up there in Sydney with Schappelle so Schapelle unknowingly took the stuff onto Bali..
THEN Jodie is playing her mother to back her up in this to get herself out of the trap she was in with Merc and their terrible secret.
OTHERWISE Jodie’s mother is saying shit, what ever to help her daughter get out of the trap she is in with the Corby’s and their terrible secret.

Whoopsies, the whole thing is fucked up now cos stupid Jodie missed her pick up. So Jodie and Mercedies campaigne like fuck in Indionesia to free Schapelle cos they are guilty as hell for getting Schapelle in the clink themselves.
Time goes by and it’s looking like Schapelle will not be freed dispite all this effort.
under the pressure of a load of guilt the girls eventually turn on each other..
“well if you didnt supply me (my daughter) with the bloomin drugs, and you know I (she) likes the drugs, I (she) wouldnt have done this!” Says Jody and Jodies Mum to Mercedes and Mercedie’s Mum.
“You fucked up you stupid bitch, say anything and you’ll be fucked!” says Mercede’s and her mother.
“Oh yeah, you reckon do you you fucking stupid sluts, we’ll just see about that!”
…and so Jodie takes the dirty laundry to the media and picks up a nice $$package$$
OH and now Mercede’s and her family are threatening to sue that station that aired their dirty laundry.

I think that Jodie is a revolting person, even if what she is saying is true which is doubtfull, it doesn’t matter, to tell these things about a friend is foul and only a person of low character would do. And by the look of that complexion, she likes a bad lifestyle herself. people like this are a waste of oxygen and she will know this herself. she feeels this deep down.
