Bob Narramore, a WWII digger was 83 a few days ago. He was a well respected member of his local community and was active in the RSL especially by visiting other less mobile old soldiers than himself for a chat and to enquire after their welfare.
Last Saturday, the day after his birthday he was walking along Belmore Rd in Riverwood, Sydney when he was pushed under the wheels of a car for no obvious reason by a man he seems to have never met previously!
A 45 year old man called Craig William Wheatley has been charged with his murder.
This is a sad end to a life spent serving community and country.

A man was murdered! A highly respected elderly man who fought for his country and served and touched many of hearts within his community.
I do not understand how any Judge could justify this sentence. It is appaling. It makes one wonder how this Judge would have sentenced this piece of SCUM had it been HER OWN FATHER he murdered!
Makes a mockery of anything called ‘justice’.
This guy is claiming he is mentally disturbed… well of course he is. Nobody normal would have done such a thing. However the ‘reason’ for doing it was an argument he had earlier which put him in a bad mood.
The minimum sentence should have been 11 years with no parole.
