Hungry Hippo.

Had a shake for brekkie as usual, but had one of the strawberry flavour FastStart from the CSIRO. I’d like to say how nice it was after a week or so of UltraFast shakes. Unfortunately I mixed it into the same amount of water as the UltraFast shakes… and shouldn’t have. I think the CSIRO … More Hungry Hippo.

Ozempic update

The increase in dosage from 0.25 to 0.5 does seem to have produced a few unpleasant side effects, or at least I *think* it has. The problem is that alongside starting the Ozempic injections, I also discontinued the daily Nexium tablets which were controlling the GORD (Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) which I’ve had for many years … More Ozempic update

One step forwards?

On August 10th, in the post “What doesn’t kill you…”, I was saying I had to have patience about my weight loss, or lack of it because, after the first week or so of losing mainly water, your body needs to heal and adapt to the new diet regime and only *then* will steady loss … More One step forwards?

The CSIRO diet

In the previous post “Making my way back”, I was saying I need to rethink my approach and adjust the way I’m dieting. To this end I’ve been investigating the new CSIRO diet plan. Basically, the CSIRO have released a new FastStart Diet based on their research findings (the CSIRO are a great bunch). It … More The CSIRO diet
