Goodbye Benji

Sad to say we lost our dog Benji last night after all. Much as we struggled to keep hi, in the end, we had to do our best for him and that best was to stop him suffering. He’s been at my side for years. When I moved from room to room he’d come with … More Goodbye Benji

Not so happy today.

Weight increased slightly to 139.80 kilos, probably because I ate a bucket load of Froyo and Yoghurt. I’ve always been an ’emotional eater’ and yesterday my old dog got a diagnosis that means he’ll likely have to be put to sleep on Saturday. We knew he had cancer in an anal gland some months back. … More Not so happy today.

Again little sleep

Went off to bed at 9:30 but woke at 2:00 and that was my lot… 4.5 hours. I tried everything from meditating to listening to ‘relaxing sleep music’. Nothing worked. Finally gave up trying at 6:15 and got up. It was too early to start and I feel awful. I suppose I’ll have to go … More Again little sleep

Sleep escapes me.

Weight has gone down slightly to 140.00, which is an improvement, tho coming at the ‘cost’ of having a strange food day. I had more ‘banana shake’ this morning but I can’t say I enjoyed it much. Past blast!!

In retrospect maybe … More Past blast!!

Bouncy, bouncy

Weight has been static for a few days, well, actually it went up and down a bit. Today, however, it seems there was a real loss down from 141.70, to 140.80… almost an entire kilo! That’s pleasing. Last night I made some creamed potatoes, literally with butter and cream, then blitzed. Really good! Had some … More Bouncy, bouncy

And on we go!

Missed posting yesterday because life got a bit confusing. Went to see all the people in CoC I had appointments for. The Physio told me stuff I already knew. The Dietitian wasn’t perhaps as useful as she might have been but gave me a wealth of information to help sort out the diet moving forward. … More And on we go!

Tedium Rules.

So, when I started this post, I was getting bored. Then my inability to resist temptation took over. In fact, I wasn’t ‘tempted’ as such, I actually went *looking* for chocolate and figured an Oreo finger would satisfy my ‘urge’ and the wafer would mean it wasn’t likely to cause any issues with my sleeve. … More Tedium Rules.
