Astronaut Lisa Novak has just been arrested and charged with, amongst other things, attempted murder. Seems she fell in love with someone who, whilst happy to do some horizontal aerobics with her, was actually in a relationship with a younger woman. Lisa, who incidentally is married with three children is alleged to have wanted to … More Did she see it in the stars?

Seems young David (80) feels networks are a bit nervy about having someone his age commiting to making documentaries over a three year period… so he will retire after his latest series “Life in Cold Blood”. He’s been around narrating documentaries on nature and the environment for what feels like my entire life and though … More David Attenborough to retire?

Congratulations to Ricky Ponting. Last night he took out all three of the major gongs at the Alan Border medal awards night. He is the only player to have won all three awards and the only player to have won three times! He had medal wins in 2004, 2006 and now 2007. The three awards … More Ponting wins Border medals

The wife has been catching an early bus to work so I’ve been walking with her to the bus stop, … More I also hate exercise!

The charges against David Hicks are finally becoming public… and what a joke they’d be if David’s life wasn’t being wrecked. For a start they are accusing him of charges under the ‘law of war’. It’s nearly time for me to go order my books (note the plural)! 😀 Will Harry live? Will Harry Die? Who knows… … More Harry Potter… the end is nigh!!

Up and away early this morning to get the kids off to school on time for the first day back. I’ve finally realised that for me to get them there for 8:50 I have to start shouting “Let’s Go!!” at 8:00 and then jolly them along until we actually get in the car which could … More School's back!

A female member of the sister forum has been missing for a week or so. Today we learned why. While walking home with her husband after an Australia Day show, on a crowded footpath and not far from home, they became separated. She crossed the road to look for him and was grabbed from behind … More Makes you think.
