So moving along again, now dropping the weight to 134.00 kilos. Not a massive drop from yesterday, just 200 grams, but a move just the same. Again it’s clear my finally regaining control of my diet is making the difference, tho I am *still* eating a greater amount each meal than I should. As I’ve said repeatedly, my meals should be a maximum of a half cup at a time. I can eat more than three times a day if necessary, for example, to increase protein intake, but the size of each meal should still be no more than a half cup.
Easy to say but my psychology makes it difficult to conform. When I’m presented with a meal, I’ll eat it regardless of the size. This is an ongoing problem and I don’t know what to do about it. Even in the mornings when I have a packet of ‘easy’ porridge for breakfast, I finish it! These things aren’t huge, but combined with the 2/3 cup of milk they’re mixed with, are still larger than a half cup. Do I restrict myself? Nope. I don’t even think about it, just eat it.
On a more positive note, I finally managed to get myself to the gum and walked for 30 minutes on a treadmill. Today I’m going to the local pool for a swim, or rather a walk. My swimming ability is just dreadful, so I use their exercise pool to walk and push against the water. The idea is to use the water resistance to improve muscle tone and increase the strength in my legs.
