Half a kilo!

My shenanigans yesterday and the day before which resulted in me not actually eating anything, or rather keeping what I ate down, have resulted in a weight loss of 700 grams overnight. Ok to a large extent, that’s handy, but really not what I need to be doing. I’m supposed to be keeping my protein levels up and if I can’t eat to begin with or overeat and throw it back up I end up with a huge deficit!

The answer is to obviously eat more slowly and eat less. Take my time with smaller portions. So easy to say, and so hard to do. Even so, I have to try. The last couple of days have given me a painful lesson on what not to do.

No dog walking this morning. Went to the wife’s unit with Myrddyn to introduce his to her. She seemed to take to him immediately, which was good because I was expecting a lecture about it being to early to get a new dog just a few days after Benji died… but I think she understood how much I need a companion,

Of course, Myrddyn isn’t lead trained yet, so I can’t take him for a walk yet anyway. According to Google, leash training should begin as early as 8 – 10 weeks and will take around a month to get them fully used to it. I hope by this time I’ll be a lot lighter and more able to move enough to make the walk an enjoyable experience for both of us. Since I’ve lost 9 kilos in the past month, I could be down below the first target weight of 135 kilos, which was my weight when I was in our home in Towamba. From there on down I’ll be ‘winning’. Anyway, the point is that I could 9 – 10 kilos lower.
