Well, it was all going so well. The weight started to move downwards again, only 300 grams but still going the right way. Been eating ok, had lots of soup, drinks etc no problems at all to speak of. And that’s where the good part endeth…
This morning I felt a tiny pinpick of pain on my left side. So small I couldn’t locate it. Through the day the pain has slowly increased… but I still can’t actually specifically locate it. It feels as tho it originated below two of the left side incisions and below, but I can’t get it to hurt when I press it. It hurts like hell when my daughter presses it. It could be, or of course, that she’s just pressing harder than I am… or harder than I’m willing to try on myself, but I have an appointment to see my GP tomorrow at 10:20. However, before that I’ll pop over to the Circle of Care to ask their advice, assuming that is there isn’t some serious development between now and then (fingers crossed).
Basically, it’s been a bit of a mixed bag of a day. Hopefully, tomorrow will see me lose weight, find out what the pain is being caused by, *and* discover an easy way to fix it. I think it’s an infection that requires a simple course of antibiotics, but we’ll see. Be positive I say… regardless of the thought is was all going so well something really *had* to go wrong. ๐
