Odd Readings?

So yesterday I made a real effort to stick to the diet again. And to a large extent, I did keep both calorie intake and bulk to a low level. Having done that, I really expected to have made serious inroads to the weight increase I noted from Friday. However… not only did that not happen I seem to have *added* a further half kilo!! I have no idea what’s going on unless my digestive system needs to be ‘cleared out’.

To that end, I’ve added a single laxative pill to my daily meds to be taken at night. The recommended dose is three pills but I figure I’m not actually desperate so one will do for now. In addition, I’ll start adding Benefiber to the shakes to see if that added fibre will help. Likewise additional water… tho that may have the opposite effect temporarily.

My BP is finally down at the right level for my age, or close to it anyway, recording 125/75 for the first time. I’ve been hovering around the 135 mark since I started which is on the high side, so I hope this is a sign of things to come. Maybe it’s something to do with having slept properly for the first time in a while after adding Restavit to my daily meds as well!! Oh yes, also added calcium, iron and B12 into the mix! (so many tablets…). Is all this helping?? God knows, but it’s worth a try.
