Sleep? Heard of that.

Last night was a shocker. I got to bed at around 10:00, despite having been asleep on and off in the previous afternoon, and then woke, wide awake, at 1:50 a.m. and drifted in and out for the rest of the night finally waking properly at 5:15 a.m. I’m exhausted.

To add to the misery, yesterday’s overindulgence meant my weight went back up to 149.6 kilos, back where it was last week! So not too happy about that either. 😦

I know why I had so much trouble sleeping last night, and it was entirely my own fault. My daughter drank half a bottle of Coke No Sugar but didn’t want to finish it so gave it to me. The idiot boy here drank it. No problem with the liquid, but the *caffeine* was *not* welcome.

Seems last night was a disaster in many ways. Not only did missing the evening shake cause problems, but the meal was too small, the ‘snacks’ should have been unnecessary but were eaten, I drank caffeine instead of water, and drank too little water (all day). The result was… as said… exhaustion and weight gain. Never mind, I have to just keep going onwards and upwards regardless. I’ll just start again today. Anyway, in two days I go back to the clinic to pay for the operation so it’s crucial I keep to the plan.

Remember, today, the real countdown begins, there are only ten days to the operation itself. The panic over whether this is the right thing to do continues.
