Bit of a problem really. Had my shake late, but in time to make me full. Had soup for dinner with a cuppa. So far so good. I’d even taken the dog for a walk… not too long, but long enough after yesterday
Had an apple in the afternoon, and then it all went sideways. I was very late eating because I went up to the Pavilion Theatre to pass some plates and cutlery over to the wife. By the time I got back, I was really hungry. As an ‘aside’ today, I opened a new box of crockery. This is important, because I used the new bowls to use for my salad.
The trouble was, that the salad just wasn’t big enough bearing in mind how late I was eating, so I had an apple, followed by a mushroom filled with mayo. To compound it, I then had an apple, and *then* a load of dry Nutrigrain, and then even *more* Nutrigrain, this time with milk. As I was typing this up I realised I could have, or should have, just had my shake, which I’d totally forgotten! Too late, unfortunately, but there ya go. Things happen.
Otherwise a normal day, well almost normal. Sadly for weeks since I started this I’ve been getting really tired in the afternoons and, in fact, I regularly fall asleep leaning on my desk. I’m beginning to think the reason is simply I haven’t been eating a large enough lunch, which then leads on almost echoing into the evening making me hungrier than I should be. Tomorrow I’ll test this by eating a larger lunch and see what happens.
