A day in the life.

After yesterday’s adventure in overexertion, I think I might take it a little easier today. There’s a lot to do indoors which I want to get done before I attack the mess which is our patio, and I *mean* mess. If it was even slightly better I’d post a picture. Maybe mess isn’t even strong enough to describe it. Let’s call it a *hoarder’s* nightmare!

Started the so far ok tho. My weight has remained constant and I managed to get a reasonable night’s sleep at last. Maybe it was the exercise, maybe the water intake at optimum but whatever it was, I feel a lot better for it!

Drinking my morning cup of tea and will have my shake a little later. I decided, rightly or wrongly, to have the shake around 10:00 or so if I could wait that long. The longer I wait, the less chance there is of me overeating again, or ‘picking’ etc. Also, it fits in with the ‘intermittent fasting” diet that’s been going the rounds over the past year or so.

I already don’t eat after 7:00 so was actually following the suggestions by cutting out food for 12 hours. Now, however, I’ve been stretching it out to 15 hours without too many issues so I’m no close to the ‘ideal’ fast period for ‘seniors’ of 16/8. If nothing else, it will be getting my body ready for the sudden drop in calorie intake after the operation. Basically, I’m now on a mixture of the Ketosis and Fasting diet regimes. Is this a good idea?? Not a clue but doing it anyway because it helps me to focus on the reduction in weight which is the important thing.
