Here we go again!!

Ok, we’re off again! New scales arrived yesterday and I was able to weigh again this morning (which is when I record my weights). They showed I’ve started dropping again now down to 149.7. Not a massive drop, but a drop nonetheless and means I’m further on my way towards the weight I was supposed to be some weeks ago when my weight loss stalled.

Obviously, something changed in my calorie intake, and yesterday’s efforts seem to have been rewarded. The three shakes were coupled with a lunchtime salad, an apple, and… 200 grams of chicken! Nowhere near as much as usual which might explain the loss!

The chicken (two large breast pieces) was an excess purchase by my daughter and not used. I cut them into 100 grams, surprisingly accurate, slices and air-fried them to try to reduce the fat content and refrigerated them. The shake would have been enough but I felt I ought to have real protein so I had one with no veg. Then later on I felt more peckish so ate another, again with no veg. If I have a meal tonight I’m going to use two fried eggs and veg. Apart from liking eggs, I think a change might be useful and provide a different type of protein.

So, as I said, here we go again. 🙂
