Went to see the GP to inform her that the cardiologist said I’m okay for both testosterone therapy *and* the gastric sleeve (not in order of importance to me), and also, to get a new supply of Ozempic at the 1 mg dose to keep me going until the operation. I’ve just called the Circle of Care to make an appointment with Dr Roy Brancatisano for next Tuesday (9th Sept 2023) when I’m hoping to get the final go-ahead and a date to mark as the *real* beginning of the new regime. So one more step on the path completed.
On a side note, I measured my BP again, as I now do each morning (and night if I remember). This time I measured it with both the sleeve device, *and* my watch. The watch showed a far higher BP than the sleeve device. Not sure which is accurate, but these are the results. Watch: 139/71 Sleeve: 124/79. I’m inclined to believe the sleeve but I really need a comparison from a health professional to be more certain.
Anyway, this morning I feel positively chirpy! I doubt it will last (rarely does for long these days) but I’m focussing on me right now and, as they say, going for it.
