I’ve been making my way along through the diet doing what I think is right, much as I’ve always done… which as we know from earlier attempts to diet, got me nowhere. Having not lost a gram these past two weeks, I think maybe I need to do yet another rethink. It occurs to me that I might have just been eating too much! So yes I’ve been trying to reduce the calorie count but may not really have been doing it properly.
I’ve been having a protein shake for breakfast around 200 calories: for lunch I usually have a tin of tuna spread on Cruskits and maybe some soup at around 350 calories; and for dinner a large salad, again around 500 calories or so. Basically I’ve been eating around 1000 – 1200 calories, nowhere near the maximum I’m allowed which is in the region of 1200 – 1500. So I’m thinking maybe go back to eating Lite n Easy or Muscle Chef so I get a more controlled calorie intake.
I’m thinking this because I had what was really a huge salad tonight. Way bigger than I should have. In fact I’d say it was at least enough for two… maybe more! Point being that unless I actually control not only calories but the size of the meals I’m not going to be in a position to control myself after the operation, If I ever get that close! It’s irritating that my weight isn’t dropping regardless of the plan I posted a few days ago. 🙂
