Just a quickie today. I’m wondering if I can manage to follow a real ‘fast’. I already eat nothing between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am (i.e. 12 hours), but I’m wondering if I could extend it to lunchtime, which is around 1:00. (i.e. 18 hours). I’ve never done this before so could easily fail, tho I’m thinking to break myself in slowly, by having ‘elevenses’ in the form of something light? Not exactly sure what form that would take yet but considering a small bowl of salad, made up of half a tomato, a small portion of lettuce and a few slices of cucumber with maybe an olive or two to act as a substitute for a dressing. I’d have to work out what the calorific value of that would be but it might work. I shall report back as soon as I see what happens.
