It’s been a real up-and-down week with a few highs, but maybe more lows. The Ozempic is doing its job but for various reasons, most of which I don’t understand, I’ve been feeling really unwell and even so dizzy I fell down! Didn’t do any permanent damage, i.e. no broken bones, but it really shook me up. I based the doctor who thinks I might have been overdoing the diet and suggested I return to one substitute and two actual meals. I tried that… and have lost nothing for the past week so not what you’d call a raging success. All I can think is that the meals were too big!
Oddly tho, and in my own defence, the meals were salads! Basically, the salads are just lettuce, tomato, cucumber, ham and dressing. I added olives and pickled cucumber to one but that’s next to nothing. For one lunch I ate an entire head of celery with some mayo, again hardly any calories, and have also had packet soup, Kruskits and a small tin of Tuna. None of which is excessive. To maintain my current weight I’ve been told I should eat around 3,000 calories per day so being on 1500 – 2000 you might assume I’d be seeing a gentle drop in weight… but nope. Currently, I’m a bit despondent but still in there fighting.
