Driving the kids to school yesterday I noticed in passing a flying fox hanging on wires at the side of the road. Wasn’t sure then if it was alive or dead. Since it’s there this morning I have to assume it’s dead.
It’s the ‘circle of life’ stuff again I suppose… but it’s still quite sad really to see such a beautiful animal like that.
Further down the road are the remains of a sugar glider that’ve been hanging around in a similar position. The sugar glider has been there 3 years or more but has only just begun to look as if it will soon fall. I hope the bat isn’t hanging around that long… damn thing is huge!
