Mothers Day in Australia today… woohoo!!
Not going to explain how… but we (and she) now have a digital piano. She spent a chunk of the day tinkling to ersatz ivories and entertaining us all before we went for a walk… decided to have a cup of tea at the local heritage building… found it was shut… and had to visit two other places before we were able to sit down and get some refreshment 🙂
Walked home with throbbing hip and unstable knee… but got here.
Dinner? Just a traditional leg of lamb with roast parsnips, baked veg, silverbeet, carrots and rosemary mashed spuds… and gravy 😀
Went down well… especially with a nice passion fruit sponge cake bought for the occasion from Michel’s patisserie… I hate making cakes.
Sat and watched a couple of chick flicks and so to bed. We’ve had worse days.
