Google Maps aren’t the only offering out there of course… just the easiest to get to.
Another offering is the experimental setup at Flash Earth which carries access to all major map and satellite image sites including Google, Microsoft and NASA which updates its shots daily, but has lower resolution!
Currently the NASA shots show Sydney covered in cloud… which it is… so I can’t see how much detail is available, but it’s a site to watch 🙂
So… having looked at as many satellite picture sites as I can find in a short while, by far the best has still been Google.
