Went off eventually this morning to pick up the laptop and drop a monitor off to a friend. Explained what was going on the the oldies and after chivvying the young ones to get a move on, started for the car.
Suddenly… the old man turns to the old lady and says “Come on then… we’re all off for a drive”. Not problem with that… except that had he mentioned coming previously. we’d have set off 20 minutes earlier. Grrr…
Just to comfuse things further, they wander off to the toilet as usual, and on the way back, the old lady insists she’s going nowhere. So they walk back in… and just as she’s about to sit in her chair… she changes her mind… and they *do* come!!
I’m not sure which of us is going round the bend fastest! 😀
