After some searching around… online and in my memory… I realised the FTP client that I needed was Filezilla. This FTP client has several things going for it.
To begin with it works, always the most important thing. Secondly it’s free, and you can’t go wrong with that either! And of course being open source it’s continuously being worked on and improved with no effort of input from us ordinary untalented leeches.
Full credit to the developers of course. Without them we’d be spending dollars needlesly on inferior products. Good onya guys.
I’ll have to remember to load it onto the daughters machine when she gets it!
Also she’ll need to find out what her FTP server login and password are or we’ll not be able to upload anything anyway! 😀
