Yet again a college campus in the USA has become a killing ground as a lone maniac guns down 32 kids in cold blood. No doubt the National Rifle Association will find a hundred reasons to continue and justify the sale of guns to almost anyone who asks for a licence. And yet the killing continues.
Surely it’s time to outlaw guns now and introduce the US population to the concept of civilisation?
Guns exist to kill something, and that something is usually other people. It’s time to put an end to the carnage. Banning the sale of guns to anyone indiscriminately would be a good start.

Perhaps they should also include geography in the school curriculum, to help them realise they are not the centre of the universe. These are the stories that make headlines, they dare not mention the hundreds of people who get gunned down every day for no apparent reason. I hate to say I think the UK is going the same way. How long will it be before some crazed teenager thinks it’s the way forward for him/her. Knives are the big thing here at the moment, how far away is the next step?
