Had a cable left over and couldn’t make out what it was for. Was an audio connection so should have been obvious in retrospect… but wasn’t.
Quite by chance I read the tiny tickers on the front of the monitor and saw ‘stereo speakers’… d’oh! Connected the monitor to the CPU and away we go!
I currently have Kathryn Jenkins blasting out large as life. Maybe the sound isn’t quite 5.1 quality… and there’s no obvious graphic equalizer or subwoofer to accentuate the bass… but for what it is… great. Also the headphone input will be a godsend when I want to watch something nobody else does… or vice versa which is the usual way it goes 🙂
