Opera PDA Browser

Thanks to kyte I now have an operational browser on the PDA.

Until now I’ve been trying to use “IE Mobile’ which is a piece of crap. The opera offering is so far ahead as to be a different class entirely. The browser window even on a PDA is virtually identical to the ‘standard’ browser, though with none of the clutter. The controls are all there if you need them but most importantly all of the functionality is too!

The upshot is that I might be able to use it to post to the blog with… which would be great… esp if I could upload photos to a site somewhere and then link to them…that’s for the future tho.

Tonight howeve4r I’ll have the chance to test it out as I’ll be in hospital having another ‘sleep study’ to rey to help determine why I’m so lethargic and tired all day. So if you see lots of text entires arriving you’ll know it works.

For starters I could discuss the Easter Show we went to on Monday.
In the meantime though… well done Opera. This is a great piece of kit… I only wish it wasn’t US$25 to purchase!! Microsoft is beta testing Deepfish… which they say will be the future of micro mobile computing… but I need the browser *now* so it looks like I’ll just have to smile at the wife again and say ‘please?” 😀
