So as said onwards and upwards describing the IT jinx 🙂
The other day I rebooted the laptop… and it died. There’s a file needs reinstalling which as you know is not an easy task with XP at the best of times and this time when it won’t even *boot is *not* the best of times.
So, because the old man needs to be online now and then I decided I’d unplug my desktop from upstairs and take it downstairs so he could use it. I switched it off… took it apart… carried it safely down and reconnected it all. Guess what?
Yup… it died. Gawd.
This time it’s stuck in a loop which sees it reboot before it gets past the Windows splash screen. Why?? Who knows… not me for a start. I think I’ll have to call in an expert this time… I don’t even know where to start! 🙂
