Can’t find a decent pair of walking boots that’s a reasonable price so make do with buying trainers andwearing them until they fall apart at the seams… which isn’t long usually. The latest pair to be ruined are labelled by Mizumo ‘Wave Creation’ so are probably some generic brand… either way whilst I’ve never heard of them before they *are* pretty comfortable… so long as I wear special insoles. 🙂
I’m not convinced it makes a huge amount of difference whether the trainers are made by major brands like Nike. I figure most of the pleasure comes from having paid $300 for a pair… which I’m *not* paying. I’ll drag myself towards the $150 mark if I’m forced but I’d need a lot of forcing.
Come to that… I’m not really in the market for the garish colour schemes that seem prevalent amongst manufacturers these days. What on earth is wrong with plain white? Why do I need fluorescent rainbow coloured footwear anyway? Beats me.
I *do* need decent trainers now tho. I only walk 3 – kilometers or so in the mornings but it helps if I don’t then spend all day limping because of pains in my feet. Besides… overall during the day I suppose I get to 10 kilometres or so and is justification in itself for decent walkers.
I think it’s back to the shops for me!
