Readers will… or might… recall that last year my folks tried to extend their stay for three months but my other got ‘knocked back’ by DIMAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship). The old man got through… but the old lady *didn’t*… so they left a little earlier than they’d have liked.
This year the strangest thing happened. Despite my mothers clear deterioration physically and mentally in the past year… this time *she* got through on the nod and they rang my old man to check *he* was ok!!
Still… even odder was that they *both* got permission to stay for the next three months! So… looks like we’re in for another interesting few months 😀
