Just a reminder that it was around this time in 1991 that the decisions were being made to attack Iraq to force them out of their occupation of Kuwait. I’ve not been to Kuwait and know very little about it, but I wonder if ‘democracy and the rule of law’ was imposed *there* as a result of the war? I doubt it.
