Bearing in mind how brightly coloured and slow moving lots of them are it’s amazing they’ve managed to survive and flourish as species. Ok some may be poisonous… but many aren’t. Besides, surely after all these millions of years something would have developed an immunity to them and wiped them out?
I’m glad they haven’t died out of course… but it’s still odd how they’ve persisted all this time! 🙂
